Angels, Demons, & Satan

    We believe in the personal existence of angels¹ and demons and Satan.

    Satan was originally created as a holy and perfect being, but through pride and unlawful ambition, rebelled against God³. He became utterly depraved in character⁴, the great adversary of God and His people⁵, the leader of all other evil angels and spirits⁶, the deceiver and god of this present world⁷. However, he was defeated and judged at the Cross, and therefore his final doom is certain⁸. We are able to resist and overcome him only in the armor of God and by the blood of the Lamb⁹.
