Berachah Bible Church began in 1970 in response to Bible-believing churches in Atlanta closing their doors to African Americans. Founding Pastor Dr. Howard Dial longed to see a church established where Bible exposition governed the life of the congregation and challenged the deficiencies of the culture.
Berachah - The word Berachah means blessing in Hebrew.
Bible - We want to be a church that is aligned with the Bible: God’s living and active Word.
Church - The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. Christ places His redeemed people in the church to learn together, grow together, serve together, and worship together.
“...they assembled in the Valley of Berachah, where they praised the Lord...” 2 Chronicles 20:26
